Field Assistant (FIFO 2:1) - Gold Exploration

Roster: 2 weeks on / 1 week off
Contract Type: Casual
Duration: long-term ongoing work
Start: Pipelining talent for June/July onwards
Rate: $50 per hour + superannuation. Up to 11 paid hours per day.

About the Role

We are seeking physically capable and motivated Exploration Geology Field Assistants and Technicians to join a high-volume gold exploration program in Western Australia. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic exploration environment.

Responsibilities

• Support RC drilling operations, including sample collection and processing

• Assist with core handling, marking, and transportation

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the drill site

• Adhere to safety protocols and site procedures

• Perform general labour duties as required

Requirements

• Previous experience in a field-based role is advantageous but not essential

• Ability to work in remote locations under varying weather conditions

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• First aid training and 4x4 driving experience

• Valid Australian driver's licence (LR licence or forklift is advantageous)

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

• Current National Police Check (NPC) or willingness to obtain one

• Full Australian working rights are essential to be considered
